I've been wanting to write about something for a while but I guess I'm never actually sure what I want to write about until I start doing it. I've also realized looking at some other neocities pages that I really don't have to make a long post. It can just be some pictures.

The freelancing report ep.1

Hoping that if this turns out any good I can turn it into a regular program for my blog. Basically I want this to be the "pilot" for a series documenting my progress in both finding and succeding in doing freelance work for people. The work that I want to focus on is graphic design. But then hopefully I will also quickly transition into CAD work when that makes sense to do. I do have some experience with CAD from highschool drafting class but I only took the first year and it was 2d only back then. The software I'm using is different too. I was using AutoCAD back then but now I use FreeCAD. It's deffinetely a learning curve but taking up projects would be good for honing my skills.

As of right now I have a few projects but I don't want to share any here that aren't purely for me. It's more of a privacy thing. The stuff I make for myself actually ends up being lower quality too so if what I share here impresses anyone then maybe I'm not doing that bad of a job.

My main project as of the last few years of being homeless has been fundraising. This post isn't for me to continue that though. This post is meant to be like a show and tell. I'm showing people what I've been up to and telling people how I plan to move forward. I don't think it's fair for me to keep just asking for money when I'm capable of doing work to earn my own. I still ask because I know I'm also disabled and need all the help I can get but I want to work for it anyway. I'm sure other disabled people out here know what I'm feeling right now. Especially peeps like me who don't collect a disability check. Not that I don't want to take money from the government, (it's much better for it to get spent on me rather than bombs) but this government makes it obscenly difficult to do so.

Anyway, here's hoping for more job opportunities so that I can come back here and make more updates. If anyone out there reading this wants me to do some work for them feel free to message me on Signal. 305-707-4039
