Trying out something new

I'm using sadgrl.onlines layout maker To help me learn how to start using the div's instead of making my whole site a table. The tables are hacky and something I picked up using old html 1.0 books to teach myself. I'm leaving all of her notes in the code so that if someone wants to grab my layout and try moding it for themselves they can. It's really more CSS than anything else. Guess that's not a bad thing. But the layout is entirely different to how I used to set up my site so this is going to be a harsh update for me.

I'm not quitting as long as I'm alive

I'm only 27 going on 28. Why quit writting code so early. It's my new favorite thing to do. I'm going to try to always do my edits on my same old laptop using Mate. I am going to have a little office space soon to setup my desktop though so maybe I even start doing little articles of fun stuff that I do on there. For now all the fun stuff I'm doing is updating this site.

As far as my need for wanting to be in little space. That isn't going to happen until I have my own space and that all depends on whether or not my mother comes to live with me in my next house. Honestly I might only do some online roleplay to satisfy myself without actually being little irl. That doesn't bother me too much. The idea for my next home as well will probably be something mobile. I really like the idea of not being tied down to one spot. I also don't like the idea of paying rent tbh. The best thing I can do for myself would be to build a van. I don't really have a time frame for this but I like having these goals in mind as a guideline for what it is I'll be doing for the future. The first on my set of goals for this year at least needs to be to get a stable source of income. I will continue applying for jobs (I say continue but I having been working on this as much as I should) and I might be able to get on disability soon. Crossing my fingers that it happens within the next month or so. My therapist is helping me with finding a case worker who is going to help me with this.

My partner is moving out of state

She's moving to NY with her other partner. I haven't talked about her at all on my site I think. Basically I have this partner right, we've been together since late-2019. She's been helping me a lot over the years. Even though it seems like my life has gone downhill since I met her I can assure you that throughout the timeline since we've met she has always managed to make my life that much more meaningful and worthwhile. Even though she is moving very far away from me we will be staying in touch as much as possible. She's also giving me her car which in South Florida is basically my legs since public transport is awful here. I've been driving that car kinda illegally for a few months now and I still need to use it to get basic things done. Hopefully we will work out putting the car under my name soon before she finishes her move. She's already got an apartment over there that she's been staying at (without even telling me) but she will be coming back down soon to grab some more of her things and to hopefully visit me as well. I would be kinda sad if I didn't get to see her before she settles in over there. I have no idea how long it'll take before I can make a move like that but I would love to be able to get closer to where she is. NY is beautiful and has way better public transport than where I am at. If I were to go up there I would actually try to survive carless for a while. I don't know under what circumstances I would be moving over there in but my goal has been to get out of Florida for a long time now. All it takes is for me to have a stable online job of some sort. At least that what I'm hoping I can get. I would really love to do a web dev job of some sort since I'm already doing that sort of stuff for fun.
